The beloved craze of denim is one type of look that isn't immune to the passing of time, and is back on front row this Spring-Summer in France.
I am pretty excited with my founds of denim assembles for this latest collection. Say goodbye to the tights and sweatpants we all know and love (lockdown life), and hello to denim chambray dresses, high waisted jeans, sky-blue jumpsuits, and button-ups. Comfortable, flattering and versatile!
Denim is associated with jeans, but it's also known for its beautiful shades of blue colour which we all love! We wanted to celebrate this iconic fashion style this season with a range of staple denim coloured pieces. My pick this season? the denim jumpsuit with a belt and a pair of Veja.
Remember the total look denim, it was a staple in the '90s and never fully disappeared. Everywhere you look this season whether it's the Dior, Burberry or Balmain runway or down the street, head-to-toe denim is very much on-trend. Look at those beautiful Parisian styles, inspiring right?
A fun little fact for you all: DID YOU KNOW the word “denim” comes from the fabric "Serge de Nimes" originated in the city of Nimes in France, playing on the French words (de Nimes) in English colloquialism came to be denim. True or false?
