The Saint-Germain-des-Prés Style

With the reopening of the borders, we all have one thing in mind (I do anyway): TRAVEL! First up on my bucket list is Paris, bien sur. This is where all of my Volange inspirations were first built, I can't wait to get back to my French roots and rediscover the hidden nooks and heritage-filled streets once again... Whilst, of course, reconnecting with my family.

Like any trip, let's think about the suitcase situation and what will be the wardrobe staples. To travel to Paris without looking like a tourist, no more "WFH" tracksuit sets!

As style should never be disregarded, I asked my good friend Charlotte for her professional recommendations. She is a French celebrity stylist who has been dressing the who's who of Paris for the past 20 years!

She will take you through the Parisian Style this season via the different arrondissement of Paris. Keep reading!

Saint-Germain-des-Prés

First things first in the capital of love for fashion, Charlotte is taking us to Saint-Germain-des-Prés. On the southern banks of the Seine is the heart and soul of trendy minimalistic style (and for me, a personal favourite!). Charlotte channels refined streetwear with her fashion tour through this iconic and trendy arrondissement of Paris, which is carried through to my newest capsule. Here you will find inspired looks embodied by new French fashion icon, Suzanne Lindon, known to be the ambassador of Celine, and daughter to French actors, Sandrine Kiberlain and Vincent Lindon. She is the epitome of the polished monochrome look.

It's like she has perfected the minimalistic and 'straight to the point' technique, whilst still looking chic, stylish, and trendy! Pieces like the Marinière, denims, a sleek leather jacket or a sparkly dress number with boots are all the looks that scream "Saint-Germain-des-Prés style".
