My suitcase essentials this summer

Anyone in the mood for a relaxing Summer holiday? I sure am!
I think we can all agree that this year has been a crazy one and we certainly can't forget about the past two, I mean, where did the time go? With travel slowly coming back, I am ready for a holiday where my only concern is choosing whether to go to the resort's pool or its sandy beach down the road. Who's coming with me? It's time to pack your bags, sit back and unwind. Let's go!
The sun hat

I can't leave the house without my sun hat: this one is light, comfortable, stylish and not too large.

The cover up

A cover up is essential for Summer. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is or where you are, you can get endless wear out of it. It's practical to add over your swimsuit if you prefer to be semi-dressed or can be added over relaxed pants and a cami for that cool extra layer on those breezier nights.

Swap your handbag for a tote/basket

Nothing screams holiday mode more than a nice trendy basket/tote bag, and while I love the tradition raffia or straw ones, I find this one more practical for travelling as I can easily fold and fit it in my suitcase.

A relaxed dress

Picture this: you've just reached your resort and enter your room which overlooks the water. The first thing you want to do is to explore the place! A light Summer dress will be your go-to in this moment. I love the loose spaghetti straps look as it emphasises the feminine yet comfy look. The shirt dress is also a good option for a relaxed fit when the weather is warm.
