Who is Ines de la Fressange?
You would have seen her name and face splatted over designer magazines and high-end runways, but for those who aren't as familiar, Ines is the epitome of French fashion royalty. She is the living definition of "effortless chic" and "elegance" and has been an integral part of the overall French fashion industry.
In a nutshell, she is the Queen of French culture and fashion. Over her years in the fashion and design industry, she was named to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame in 1998, has been paraded as a Chanel model since the 1980s, and was known to be Karl Lagerfeld's muse... she was even chosen as the face of the Marianne.
Her style is the embodiment of effortless fashion and has a kind of look that manifests natural elegance in the most simplistic form, always wearing timeless outfits with accessories to finish. A few words from the icon herself when asked about her style and what it possesses... "A handbag that costs more than the whole outfit put together! (laughs) White jeans, a navy blue sweater and some nice accessories. Piqué clothes for men that are very feminine. New clothes that seem timeless. Luxurious but not ostentatious clothes."
My Ines Collection
My latest collection was inspired by the casual chic and timeless styling mania that Ines de la Fressange represents. An assemblage of beautiful and basic pieces curated in the most simplistic, yet stylish form.
